Empowering the Senior Community
Over 13 Million people will become “Seniors” by the year 2020 and sometimes it feels as if there are over 13 Million decisions to be made as we age! Each day, thousands of people are faced with the complex challenges of finding services that range from financial planning to housing decisions to planning for a variety of care for the coming years. All adults, regardless of age, need to understand how they can control their own life choices when navigating the array of options they will face as they age.
There are a host of people and services out there to help you in your aging years, but their existence is often unknown and misconceptions about their industries run rampant. The single most important factor in sifting through these resources and dispelling myths is to become well-informed. The Mapping the Future panel of professionals came together to help you do just that! We formed our panel group many years ago when we recognized the value in coming together to increase awareness of not only services, but the way in which our services are interrelated. Our purpose is to educate our community, to contribute to the quality of life of our aging population and to empower people with the right information as they enter these very special years of life.
The Mapping the Future Panel is comprised of a variety of professionals that deliver information that includes, but is not limited to; Senior Resource Advocacy, Senior Community Living, Senior Real Estate & Relocation specialties, Reverse Mortgages, Financial Planning, Estate Planning, Long-Term Care Insurance, Home Care and Hospice. Our panel approach has proved a successful forum for Q & A.
